Prenatal Yoga
Since she began her practice, Megan realized the healing aspects of yoga. As she began to watch her friends and loved ones transitioning through pregnancy and childbirth, she began to realize the profound healing affect yoga would have not only during and after pregnancy, but also as a preparation for labor and childbirth. She began her training with 8 Limbs Yoga Centers in Seattle, completing their Pre/Post Natal Teacher Training program in May 2009.
Her training gave her a fresh perspective of the profoundly powerful and life changing aspects of pregnancy, childbirth and motherhood. She has since developed prenatal yoga classes designed specifically to empower and support women in their pregnancy. Her classes are focused, strengthening and encourage community building among the mothers who attend her classes. In addition, she is incorporating the use of sound healing in her classes as she has found pregnant mothers and developing babies are particularly receptive to sound.
